Ultrasonography 3 month diploma

The use of ultrasound as diagnostic technique is expanding and evolving in health care settings. It is the noninvasive medical test that serves as a screening tool to identify disease process.

Sonographic examination plays a pivotal role in developing working diagnosis of the patient. This method is available in emergency rooms, physician offices and points of care testing facilities which help in providing fast and accurate care of the patient.

The certificate program in ultrasonography is intended to develop imaging skills using ultrasonographic techniques.

The candidates will be introduced to the ultrasound physics, use of transducers and its clinical practice. They will be trained to identify the appearance of internal organs in diseased status

This course shall provide clinical experience of various diseases that can be diagnosed through ultrasonography.

Clinical practice duration will enhance the imaging skills of the professionals thereby training them to perform individually.

MBBS (PMDC recognized) + 1 year house job

Payable in 3 installments of Rs. 5,000 each (only for employees of Ziauddin University/Hospital)
